About Jim's RV rentals
We are Jim, Mike and JoAnn. Schmidt RV Rental is happy to announce that we have moved into the building that also occupies Apple Valley Camping in Appleton, WI. We operate from April through October. We currently have 19 RV's that come stock with lines, towels, kitchen ware, lawn chairs and more. We provide instructional videos and make sure you feel comfortable with everything before you leave. Here at Schmidt RV Rental, we hope to be able to offer lasting memories and the adventure of a lifetime!

Renting an RV from Schmidt RV Rental was stress free and allowed us to have a great time at AirVenture without worrying about hauling, set-up, maintenance, etc. The staff was friendly and quick to respond to our questions. We will definitely be renting from them again.

The Schmidt team was amazing! The communication was fabulous- and the camper came fully stocked with everything we needed for a fun weekend away. Not to mention the video they have that they send you before you pick up the camper is perfect! We were able to reference it while up at our site when opening and closing it up for travel.

We rented an RV from Schmidt RV Rental this past week, and it was a great experience from start to finish. We had a great experience renting from Schmidt RV Rental. We rented a pop-up camper for 6 nights. Jim took time when we arrived to show us everything we needed to know about towing and using the camper. He also provided his cellphone in case we ran into any issues, which was great peace of mind.

Our rental with Schmidt's was amazing! They were so helpful, and the camper was even better than we expected. Our rental was not for a true camping trip, but as extra space for a family weekend at a lake house. We were so happy with all the supplies that were included. The bedding was so nice, and everything was very organized. If we ever need a camper in the future, we will definitely go back to Schmidt's!

Our weekend at Kinney Lake Campground was absolutely fantastic, and Schmitt RV Rental played a huge part in making it such a memorable experience. This was exactly the kind of glamping getaway we were hoping for!
